total Newbie looking to learn and Fly

Hi guys my name is Rob,
I’m new to the whole Quad racing Sport , I have a few racers and some Photo Drones as well (working on my FAA part 107).
anyway as I said I’m a newbie to Quad racing and I need a Mentor (I’m watching a lot of "Rotor Riot" on YouTube)- I have some Gear I don’t know how to use for instance if my Racer isn’t a RTF out of the box I’m Lost - I don’t know how to program my Fr Sky Taranus plus to bind with other Quads I own. I 've got a lot of enthusiasm and very little skill in this area.
I’m in Camas Washington Looking for a club or group of pilots to learn from - I want to learn freestyle and Racing and aspire to someday race in the DRL. Let’s go Fly !
I dont always listen to Metallica but when I do,Nothing Else Matters

we have small group of about 8-ish of us that fly multiple times a week on a track we set up at Glenwood Community Church at 12201 NE 72nd Ave,Vancouver. But, things have died down during winter. This Saturday shows sunny and I'm thinking about seeing who all wants to fly. I'll reply if I get something together.

If you do end up at Glenwood this weekend I would love to come over and watch. I am supposed to be getting my drone and goggles, etc. tomorrow but obviously it won't be in the air this as I have never flown before, but I absolutely could come out and watch. I live in the Felida area so Glenwood is very close!

Even though there is going to be snow on the ground, I'm going to fly and at least one other, maybe more. I have a waterproofed quad so I'm kewl.

I'll be there by 11am. Address posted above.

While we're happy to help, it's worth trying to learn as much as you can on your own. Check out Joshua Bardwell's Youtube page, Oscar Liang's blog, rcmodelreviews on youtube etc.

For example; If you google "bind taranis to x4r-sb" 3 youtube videos and an RCgroups thread show up. Watch, learn as much as you can, then come back and ask questions if you still have them.
